1win Bombshell starts on December 2, 2024, with eight esports teams battling for victory in this tournament for Valve’s newest game, Deadlock.

When does 1win Bombshell take place?

This Deadlock esports tournament is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 2, 2024, running through to Sunday, December 8 when the grand finals take place.

1win Bombshell is an online tournament that is being live streamed on the official 1win website.

1win Bombshell Tournament Format

1win Bombshell will have two stages: the group stage and playoffs.

The tournament starts with a round-robin format group stage, with all matches played as best-of-two. 

The top five teams from the round-robin stage will advance to the playoffs, where they’ll be seeded based on their group stage placement.

Group stage winners receive a direct invite to the upper bracket final.

Runners-up and third-placed teams proceed to upper bracket semi-finals, while fourth and fifth-placed teams will be seeded in the lower bracket quarter-finals.

The play-offs will be double-elimination, with all matches played as best-of-three (BO3), except for the final, which is best-of-five (BO5).

  • Five teams
  • Double-elimination
  • Seeding based on the group stage placement

1win Bombshell comes with a $10,000 prize pool, which will be divided among the top-four-placed teams.

The champions will collect half of the pot, $5,000, with the rest divided between the second-fourth-placed squads.

Prize Money is awarded as follows:

  • Champions - $5,000
  • Runners-up - $3,000
  • 3rd-place - $1,500
  • 4th-place - $500
